How to Install editorconfig software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

editorconfig software package provides coding style indenter for all editors - commandline tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install editorconfig

editorconfig is installed in your system.

Make ensure the editorconfig package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep editorconfig *

You will get with editorconfig package name, version, architecture and description in a table
